Liberal Education

Part I. After reading the liberal education foundations readings and the core responsibility rubrics, discuss your general thoughts on liberal education: What is it? What do you think it should be? How do you think the University of is meeting the goals of liberal education? Do you feel you’re more or less prepared for life after college because of your general education courses? Be prepared to report your conclusions to the class.  A good discussion post should be 2-3 thoughtful paragraphs long.

Part II. After reviewing the Essential Learning Outcomes and filling in the related chart (below), discuss if and how particular outcomes were met. How do you see each of these outcomes helping you in your life after college? What outcomes have you yet to encounter in your college careers?
