Policy and Law

AB (Assembly Bill) 60 was recently enacted into law. It gives the authority to the State of California to issue drivers’ licenses to undocumented immigrants who are residents of the state.

Identify the policy or law.
State what the purpose of the policy or law is and what the need is for enacting the law.
Identify the stakeholders (who had invested political capital and who will benefit) and who will be adversely affected.
Identify which public agency/ies will be implementing the law and how.
