Compare and contrast the impacts of alienation between characters in THE LOST WORLD by MICHAEL CRICHTON and A PRAYER FOR OWEN MEANY by JOHN IRVING. Thesis: In a culture in which we deal with other people who are constantly trying to define us, how do characters(one from each book) fight to define themselves?
