Lecturer’s Comment/feedback:

Overall strengths
Thank you for the submission that looks at obstructive sleep apnea. It started with some good background information and contained some useful physiology. The clinical features element had lots of relevant points and anaesthesia concerns were addressed.

Areas for improvement:
The work lost marks as it went it over time limit, this is reflected in the score for presentation on the rubric, further markers were lost in this area as the presentation skills were slightly lacking. The slides contained a lot of information what lead to the presenter becoming lost and struggling to articulate their point. Breaking the information into manageable ‘chunks’ and practicing the delivery could have improved this. There are some problems with information requiring a reference.

Action Plan:
• Practice is the key to presentation
• Look to LDU (Learning Development Unit) for presentation advice
• Be sure to understand the material being presented

Intended learning outcome:
• Demonstrate understanding in relation to lifelong learning and professional development
