You will also need to interview a person that is currently, or has previously worked in corrections. The choice of what show or movie you view is up to you. Just be sure that it focuses directly on corrections and is of sufficient length and detail to answer all of the required questions. Your written report will need to be typed in WORD, double-spaced, with 10 to 12 pt. font size, be between 2 and 4 pages (at least 2 full pages) in length, and include all of the following:

The name and title (include name of agency) of the correctional official that you interviewed.
The reasons why you chose to view this particular correction’s show and interview this particular person.
Your overall impressions of the correction’s show/movie that you viewed.
Your impressions of the correctional official that you interviewed.
A summary of the two points of comparison between what the show/movie, the textbook, and the correctional official teaches about corrections (this portion of the paper is the most significant and should take up at least one full page).
The long-term impact of the experience on you (including whether you are more or less interested in corrections as a possible career).
