1. Introduction: The inter-cultural dinner and which countries were involved. What is the importance of culture in contemporary management in a globalised world?
2. Your own / chosen country culture:
a. Geographical data, population, economy, religion, language
b. What food can tell us about the culture of your own country. Values, religion, celebrations, collectivism, natural resources, political issues etc
3. Compare your country with the other countries of the group. Use two theoretical frameworks (e.g. Hofstede and Hall). Make an informed comment on the relevance and accuracy of the frameworks to describe a national culture. Include a critical analysis of the frameworks used here.
4. Choose ONE aspect of management and compare the countries involved. For instance marketing, human resources (selection, recruitment, motivation, employment legislation, rewards), strategy.
5. Synthesis and conclusions.
