Research Paper on Luis Bunuel

As part of our study of Ernest Hemingway’s memoir A MOVEABLE FEAST, each student will research one of the famous figures of the Lost Generation. Your focus should be on the person’s life, art and legacy – in particular, his or her role as part of the lost generation of Paris in the 1920’s. Each student will be responsible for a five-page research paper which contains the following elements:
• A cover page – your name and period, the teacher’s name, the name of your subject.
• No less than three pages of text – include at least five significant quotes ABOUT the person you are researching and three significant quotes BY the person you are researching.
• A Works Cited page – you must use at least three different sources, two of which must come from the Iona Prep database. (REMINDER: Wikipedia is not a reliable source for a formal research assignment)
• Papers should be in accordance with MLA guidelines, which can be found on our class page on Edline. Your thesis statement should begin the paper. Your thesis statement is: PERSON’S NAME was a fascinating member of the Lost Generation of writers.

You are assigned to research the person whose name has been circled below. Some are more “important” than others, but all of them are fascinating and each of them appears in A Moveable Feast
