– For this option, you are writing your essay #4 as a research paper and not a literary analysis of your novel. You will consider the focus of your journals for the semester and use that topic to form your thesis and your essay. You will need to access a minimum of four secondary sources for your body, two literature sources from our course this semester, and write five-six body paragraphs. For your sources, refer to the references you made in your journals. You will submit an annotated bib with your four secondary sources, outline, and formal essay. For your essay, 85% will be your essay, outline, and annotated bibliography, and 15% will be your attendance in class the day of presentations to listen to your peers.
