Your final research project is worth 100 points. The requirements for the project are:

1. You must choose a specific disability category studied in the course

2. You must choose a topic relate to that category (it could be instructional strategies, behavioral issues, current trends or issues, etc.)

3. You must include 3 external sources of support for your topic by creating interactive links within your project. These links could be to websites, articles, videos, podcasts, etc.

4. You must have 2 additional sources of support included in a reference page. In total, you should have 5 sources on your reference page once you include your 3 external sources. The 2 additional sources may include your book and you should include at least one peer-reviewed article (you may use the one you identified for your annotated bibliography or you can choose another article).

5. The total word count for your assignment should be 500-800 words.

You may submit your project in one of several formats. These formats include a PowerPoint (with your information in the notes section), a research paper, a script for a podcast, a lesson plan, or another format that you feel will allow you to meet the project requirements.
