The paper will focus on what you have learned about yourself and the potential you have in your career field. You must include what you have learned about yourself in self-assessments; including the Jung- Myers Briggs online test and the Behavioral Profiles Assessment done in class.

It is expected that the grammar, structure and style of all papers will be up to the standards of university students. After the fifth grammatical error, I will give the paper back to you to correct. A bibliography is required for all papers. Note the due date. Late submissions will be penalized by at least 5 points.

The paper should be 3-5 pages, double-spaced and typed.

Intro Paragraph- can make it personal, give your backstory

Myers-Briggs Assessment: 10 points

– What was your result? Give all 4 letters, include percentages

– Do you agree with it? Why do you think you received this result? (past experiences, culture, background)

– Look up your type online, what does it tell you about future career choice and your major?

Behavioral Profiles Assessment: 10 points

– What was your result? Score for direct, indirect, open or self contained

– Do you agree with it? Why do you think you received this result? (past experiences, culture, background)

– What does your main-style tell you about your career choice and your major?

– Make sure you discuss your main style and sub-style combination: for example, Directing RELATOR is the “Go-Getter” do you agree with this result?

Comparison of the Assessments/ Conclusion: 10 points

– Which assessment gave you the most accurate result?

– What results were similar and which were not?

– Overall, what do the results tell you?

– Conclusion of thoughts

Writing/Grammar/Sentence Structuring: 10 points

• Keep it simple and concise

• Don’t add unnecessary words

• Don’t end sentences with prepositions

• Re-read to avoid small errors!

Paper length: 5 points

Bibliography: 5 points

Total: 50 points
