Instructions or Manual Paper

The Manual paper should be  a chapter from a manual.
Be sure to think carefully about your audience and address what you see as their needs in the information you give.
Your role and task: You are a technical writer for a company or organization. This may be one you have actually worked for or work for now. Part of your job is to write instructions and manuals for new employees. This week your assignment includes:

A chapter from a manual (do not be intimidated by the word “chapter.” Your piece should be about two pages in length. Choose a subject you are familiar with, perhaps from the work you do.

It is required to include references on a separate page along with citations within the text of the document. A cover page and abstract are not required.
