Review the U.S. Government Accountability Office (GAO) report titled “Framework for Assessing the Acquisition Function at Federal

Agencies” located at http://www.gao.gov/new.items/d05218g.pdf. Take a note on the importance of organizational leadership, policies and

processes, human capital, and information management to eliminate wasteful spending in government contracting. Be prepared to discuss.

From Part 1 of this discussion, select which of these factors is the most important, and which is the least important. Provide a

rationale for your selection. Compare and contrast the two factors you selected with regard to the effort to minimize wasteful spending

in government contracting.
