“census place” and put “Flint, MI” into your search bar on the top left. Write up a 300 word narrative on what has changed demographically

in Flint in the past 60+ years, specifically listing the changes in 7 demographic categories in numerical form (e.g. Gender, 1950: 40%

Male etc). Speculate on why you think these changes have taken place – in other words, what are some of the broader societal forces we’ve

discussed that have shaped the demographic profile of Flint?
