How specific can we be about this audience?
Again, these are all just questions to get you thinking about the thesis you might develop; I do not intend for you to answer all of
them. Rather I want you to think long and deep about how the pressure of a specific audience appears to be reflected in the writer’s
work. Again, this needs to be a focused, argument-driven, five page essay. You need to know precisely what your paper is arguing in
order to write this well.
